I am a Doctorate in Nursing Practice prepared practitioner and  double board certified Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice and Psychiatric Mental Health specialty. I have extensive clinical experience since 2009  in various hospitals including Cedars Sinai Medical Center and Kaiser Permanente. I have outpatient clinical experience in Family Practice, Pain Management, Surgical Services and Psychiatric Mental health amongst adolescent to geriatric population.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from West Coast University in Los Angeles, California, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and later continued my education at the Charles R. Drew School of Medicine and Science in Los Angeles, California where I earned my Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner. During my BSN program, I was awarded to participate in a competitive Oxford University, England Honors Program in which only 12 candidates among the top 3% of the entire university were selected. During my MSN program, I maintained my excellent academic standing and was part of the Mervyn M. Dymally School of Nursing Honors Society. I exceptionally obtained my Doctorate Degree in Nursing Practice with Psychiatric Mental Health Specialty with a 4.0 GPA.

Being a nurse since 19 years old, I have seen how much psychiatric conditions have affected the lives of the patients and the people close to me. I have seen the stigma and lack of awareness over the years. Despite years of practicing in family practice including pain management and surgical services, I have seen the immense need in psychiatric care and therefore pursued my specialty in psychiatric mental health. Like any other illness, anyone can be affected by psychiatric conditions and require the efficient care like any other illnesses. I have dedicated my long good academic standing and experience to acquire the appropriate knowledge to provide efficient care to the patients I serve.  My goal and achievement in life is to  be able to contribute to the lives of the people through alleviating the suffering they experience from mental illnesses and experience the quality of life they deserve.
